June Rose Cohen,

MHC-LP

(They / She)

Hi, I’m June Rose!

I’m a nonbinary & queer therapist who shows up like a regular person and isn’t afraid to be human with you. In this room, you won’t get a lot of blank “I see” or “Ahh”’s from me. Instead, you’ll definitely have a therapist who’s warm, empathetic, and (most importantly) FUNNY.

I Work Well With:

OCD

LGBTQ+

Trauma

Chronic Pain & Illness

Artist Mental Health

Neuro-diversity

Don’t see your concerns listed? No worries ~ doesn’t mean we can’t work together! Let’s set up a quick chat to see if we’d be a good fit :)

I haven’t missed an episode of Jeopardy in 25+ years and am an aspiring contestant! I also have the cutest dog in the entire world who will absolutely show up in sessions.

I'm a therapist you can feel safe with to laugh, cry, & feel the full spectrum of emotions as you deconstruct the narratives society has taught you & create new ones that feel authentically yours.

I aim to make the therapy room a space where you can show up exactly as you are. That is, authentically you, whatever that looks like on any given day.

I use ACT, ERP, and DBT, and (most importantly) HUMOR to help clients gain tangible skills to overcome their anxieties & build the life they want to live!

Together, we’ll work through the story of you & help you create a life in which you feel freer to be yourself, without your anxiety holding you back.
