I see clients through telehealth only. This means it’s just you, me, a strong wifi signal, and maybe even a surprise cameo from your pet!
Telehealth also makes therapy more accessible & flexible — especially if you’re juggling a busy schedule or navigating mobility needs. Therapy should fit into your real life, not the other way around!
But don’t worry, all sessions are held via a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform

Heck no! Whether you’re in Manhattan, Brooklyn, or any other borough, on Long Island, upstate from the Hudson Valley to Buffalo, or anywhere in between — as long as you’re in New York State, we’re good to go!

I’m an Out-of-Network (OON) provider — but don’t stress! Let me explain how painless we can make it.
Most people with OON benefits get 50–80% of their session cost reimbursed, and I work with Thrizer to make that process simple.
Their goal is to make out of network therapy more financially accessible - once you meet your deductible, you can pay just a copay similar to your in-network rates, and Thrizer fronts the rest of your session cost to me.
What this means is that there’s no more paying your full therapy cost upfront and then waiting weeks for your insurance reimbursement to come in. This supports the cash flow you need for frequent therapy. Thrizer files everything directly with your insurance so you don’t have to deal with confusing forms or long hold times!
You can verify your Out of Network benefits by signing up with Thrizer (it’s free!). I’m also happy to do this for you & give you an estimate of your cost per session with OON benefits!

You bet! I offer sliding scale spots because therapy should be accessible — not just a luxury.
Here’s how it works:
I hold solidarity slots at a significantly reduced rate. These slots rotate every 6 months so I can extend access to more people over time!
I also offer some general sliding scale spots for people who can’t quite afford the full rate but don’t need the lowest tier either.
Reduced-fee appointments are available based on financial need and therapist availability. Please let me know if you’d like to explore this option!
If you’re able to pay the full session fee — thank you, and please do! 🤎 Paying the full rate isn’t just about covering my time; it’s also a way of contributing to community care. Your payment helps me keep those reduced-rate spots available for people who need them most, which means you’re not just investing in yourself — you’re helping make therapy more accessible to others, too. How cool is that?!

First, we’ll start with a 15 minute consultation call. I’ll get an idea of what you’re looking for to see if we’re a good fit. And you’ll be able to ask me questions about what I can offer, too!
If we’re a match, our first session is more of a “getting to know you” space. We’ll talk through what’s bringing you in, go over your symptoms, & do some brief history taking. Then we’ll start mapping out what you want to get out of therapy.
I’ll ask some questions, but there’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready for — we move at your pace. We’ll also go over logistics like scheduling, policies, & what you want therapy to look like week to week.
Most people come into their first session feeling anxious but leave feeling like, “Okay, this wasn’t nearly as scary as I thought. And she’s actually pretty cool!!”

Think less “silently nodding at you while I scribble notes on a clipboard” and more like an actual conversation with a therapist who laughs, keeps it real, and feels things too!
I’m not the blank-slate type — I’ll actually converse with you, react with you, & celebrate your wins (don’t be surprised if I hype you up with an “okay, growth!”). Some days we’ll crack up laughing (I think I’m hysterical tbh), and other days we’ll get into the deep, heavy stuff — usually it’s a mix of both.
I’m curious — I’ll ask the questions that make you think about things in a new way. I’m direct — I’ll be honest with you, even when it’s tough to hear (but always with care). And I’ll show up fully human alongside you — probably saying “same” more than once. You won't be talking into a void here!

Nope, sorry :/ You have to be 18 or older to work with me.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give their patients or clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
